the stone drakes are one of the best models. i still remember the day I got this. WOW gave me 3 day pass since I quit a few years ago and I came and got the sha of anger mount and then this. almost resubbed because I missed mount collecting so much.

I got it back in WoD when we could use an addon to hop servers. I was just clicking and hopping to Italian, Russian, Polish servers and 5 minutes into it there he was waiting for me 😁

was farming this mount on gurubashi and draenor on 2 accounts wm on/off for a while, unsuccessfully. finally made class trials on rp server the scryers and found aeonaxx at 4am wm on just circling around a pillar and invited my other account to party, killed and looted him. the next night same thing, wm off this time and same situation, flying around another area, invited my other account to party and looted him again. thank you so much for this video. if not for you my son and i still wouldnt have this beautiful mount!

After I added the waypoints you have listed and used CopyPasta addon (still works in 2023) and TomTom for the markers I was able to finally find the portal in SMV. Thank you so much for ending a search that has continued off and on since Draenor released.

10.1.5 hfc works on heroic and mythic, without killing first boss. On normal it somehow failed, the alt was in a different layered dungeon, maybe because he entered first? Do it clean and should work.

Hunting this now that I got TLPD and every other rare spawn mount. Im slightly confused by the wording of everything I read. It says 48+ to spawn. Does that just mean AFTER 48 hours pass the 2-8 spawn timer kicks in? Sort of like with Vyragosa how TLPD timer only kicks in 30 minutes after she is skinned despawned? So with NPC time 2 days 2 hours on a mob is the earliest a portal can spawn?

10.1, still works perfectly. After the whole debacle 2-3 years ago, with the difficulty change for lockouts that screwed alt runs for ICC, Mogu'shan, and DS...this is a bit refreshing to try and grab that cow and mechanical mount. You can have a rhythm going with this procedure on the timer for Rukhmar in Spires and BRF. For example, lets say you have a main and 5 alts (alt 1-alt 5) you would kill Rukhmar and head to BRF then log to alt 1. Wait until you get the Rukhmar kill then head to BRF, do this procedure, kill Blackhand, hearth to garrison or dalaran whichever you prefer then take a gryphon to Vault of Earth in Tanaan for HC. Log once arriving and you would have 2-3 minutes to set up on your Alt 2 and repeat. Once finished on all alts, clear raid on your main if you're sure you won't be running it again then move to HC. Basically, knocking out 2 birds with one stone. This also solves the instance cap per hour since you will only hit 8 at max per hour (10 is the cap). Though, you'll have to find some other way to avoid the instance cap for HC.

Update: you can now Chromie Time up to level 60.

As of 2023 this guy can spawn in time-walking, and does 2-5k damage per swing on a level 53 warrior. Fucking irritating you can't solo this guy.

so do we basically wait for the bat to hit, so we can set the stop watch for the aeonaxx spawn? is that how it works? or do we have tio kill the bat?

So, my question is about the reset. If a character or anybody is not within these zones except Shadowmoon, then does the timer reset back to the 48 hours or back to zero and you'll need to wait 2 days for the timer to jump back to 48 hours (if someone stays in that area that long). I'm just wondering if parking six characters around the zone is less profitable to my time than just parking 4 characters in SMV.

Saw a couple comments that said they got the mount shortly after watching this video and thought there's no way I'd be so lucky. I literally started dedicating some toons to farming this yesterday across a few realms and WMs. First location I went to, found a figurine. It was fake, but I still thought "hey, pretty good odds finding it at the first spot I went to." This morning, on my second fly through of Uldum, I found the real figurine and got the mount. Camel Spotter was an insane help and I really did get the mount after watching this video! Haha
